D5DOG "Great Dogs in the Park Festival and Canine Good Citizen Testing Day" a Success August 2003 San Francisco, CA - D5DOG hosted a "Great Dogs in the Park Festival and CGC Testing Day" in Alamo Square. Over 100 people were in attendance to enjoy dogs, bake sale and other events. Most importantly, over 30 very well-behaved dogs passed their CGC exams! SF's ACC was there to issues licenses to dogs and several local rescue groups (BadRap, Rocket Dog Rescue, One At A Time Rescue, and Grateful Dogs Rescue) were there to educate the public about responsible dog guardianship and place homeless dogs in new homes! It was a great day that supported both the park (we took donations through the bake sale) and awareness to responsible dog guardianship. We hope to make it an annual event. See you next year!
